I admit when I first walked in I thought it was a little odd because it's like a fast food place-- you go up to the counter to order, and the flatware is all plastic, no waitress, etc.; HOWEVER, the food was ready SUPER fast, it tasted delicious, and was priced appropriately. It was a total deal to get the giant portions that I got. The owners were there and were super friendly. They also cleaned away our plates. If you have a taste for breakfast, are on a low budget, and you want somewhere quick and close-- then this is your place. If you're looking for the breakfast chit chat, dine-in experience, you would be better off going someplace else (you'll pay for it, too, though-- especially in this area). Overall, not too bad. I'd go there again. Also, I think with where it's located (in an industrial park)-- it fits in just fine. Hungry workerbees that need a quick bite on their 30 min. lunch will absolutely be satisfied-- and they'll appreciate the speed of the fast-food style setup.

It's a Saturday afternoon with a bunch of errands to run. Another day out driving all around when gas is north of $4 dollars a gallon. Well I did promise my lovely wife lunch somewhere out. And I even let her make the call. She went to the Cozy Cafe once before with our oldest son. Maria really loved the soup she had last time, I think it was Chicken Noodle she said (don't tell her I don't remember what she told me). Well this time she ordered the daily special, Corn Beef and Roast Beef with cheese on toasted bread. It came with a Chicken Rice soup. We both thought her sandwich was really good. It was stacked high with well cooked corn beef and roast beef too. I also will say the soup, which tasted more like a lemon rice Greek type soup, was truly out of this world. Man that soup was GOOD!! I will have to remember that if we ever head back to the Cozy Cafe again. I ordered the Tuna light wrap that came with medium cut fries. I love thin cut fries, but at least these weren't those horrible thick cut fries that never seem to be cooked properly. My meal was basically just average diner fare. It was nothing special to write home about, sorry mom. Well we also ordered two soda fountain drinks and our total came to roughly $14 dollars. Again the one main saving grace was their truly outstanding soup.

I have been driving past this place for years and have never been able to pull the trigger. That all changed today. First off, the location is really unusual, in an industrial park next to "Rico's Auto Service" and "Mark's Auto Interiors". This type of oddball location for a restaurant has provided some of my greatest restaurant finds in the past.....or ended in projectile vomiting. 12 tables and a very hometown, no frills, feel. You order at the counter, sit down and food comes out quick. The lady that takes your order has the feel and look of a pissed off librarian. I ordered the American Wrap and a side of sausage links. Basically a egg, cheese, mushroom and sausage burrito. Real greasy and pretty flavorless. C. Also, all of the sausage was in the last 1 inch of the wrap. The sausage links were the same ones you get at every breakfast buffet on the planet. Def not homemade. C Sooooo, if your looking for a cheap, fast, no frills breakfast, this is your place! I will try again for lunch, but I am not holding my breath.

Interesting. .you order and they bring it to you. . The food is on a real plate, but they give you plastic silverware & Styrofoam cups? ?! I had a Cozy omlette..which is spinach and feta and onions and tomatoes. I don't like the brown skin on it, but I ate it anyway. . Hubby had country fried Steak and eggs.he enjoyed it. We used the GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY coupon, so we'll be back.

Love this place, Classic Greek cafe. Got an egg white omelet today and it was flavourful, cooked perfectly and filling! Only drawback was they don't have fresh fruit so I had to get the hash browns as a side, had a couple bites of them and they were great, seasoned well.

We ordered carry out lunch from here and the sandwiches were good so we thought we would check it out for breakfast. It was the first, last and only time we will go there. Showing sun faded pictures of the menu items is not really an appetizing or enticing way to start...also not really a fan of plastic silverware, orange juice in a plastic bottle or styrofoam coffee cups. Crepes were reheated and rubbery....eggs were just ok, sausages were fatty and seemed under cooked. I'm glad I used the restroom after I ate because it was gross...I wonder how the kitchen compared. Someone needs to get on their knees with a scrubby and some bleach and clean the bathroom good....looked like drops of blood on the floor.

Yikes, skip this place at all cost. It's basically a notch above fast food if that. The food was very bland and you serve yourself. It's plastic cups and silverware as well. The eggs were over cooked and the bacon was tough. It isn't very good quality or edible. The staff is friendly but that's all. I'd recommend driving to Orland or Frankfort for better cafés or breakfast places.

Don't go to lunch here after you've had their breakfast, you'll feel as if your being short changed. Breakfast are okay, lunch not so good. I've frequented the joint a few times for lunch and breakfast and came to realize they are only good for breakfast. Lunch is edible, although the food has been gaimy, salty, and bland.

Dave is right, it is a bit of an unusual place. The food is acceptable. The last time I was there I asked to substitute the bread on my breakfast sandwich to a tortilla and they charged me a dollar extra...like I said that was my LAST time there.

Never been to this type of restaurant before, you go in and it looks like a normal small town restaurant, but you have to go to a counter like a fast food place, you place your order, pay and sit and wait for them to cook your food, you get your meal, pour your own coffee, you eat with plastic forks and spoons, coffee is even in a Styrofoam cup, A lady does come to pick up your plate when your done. The food was just OK I got two eggs, with ham, American fries, which were raw, toast, and coffee, for self serve, I thought it was a little pricey, my biggest problem was what to tip if anything, I left two bucks, I thought just to pick up my plate that should be enough. I don't think I will return, not a friendly place either.
